Accommodations. There are many excellent hotels in Quebec City. However, it makes sense to choose one that is close to the activities and events. Hotel Chateau Laurier Québec, Fairmont Le Chateau Frontenac, and Hilton Quebec are great places to stay and very close to the festivities.

The best place to stay in Quebec City is in Old Quebec City, also referred to as old town, near the main attractions and historic sites. This area is easily explored on foot, and a funicular makes the trip from the lower to the upper neighborhood much easier.

Every year, thousands of visitors flock to the Québec Winter Carnival to enjoy a host of activities for all ages, including night parades, snow sculptures, shows, and skating. Bonhomme Carnaval is the ambassador of this winter celebration.
